finding averages

Hello.

I am struggling to find a formula that will work for all cells, in the yellow columns.

The objective is to return an average, even if sometimes the total is 0 in some months.  The issues, it returns an error when they are sometimes 0.  I tried doing an if X=0, then just Y/Total, etc.  But what I need is if X OR Y =0, then just take the average.  I am not sure I am explaining this well, but hopefully the attached file will do better than I have, in words.

The solution proposed by @durendal will include the months with a total of 0 in the average; it counts them as 0. If you want to exclude such months, see the attached version; I added some helper columns.
