Hi, I have 2 groups of data, and I want to find what function can relate the two groups. Thanks.

Please explain in detail what you mean by "relate". Perhaps a chart with a trendline?

Hi. first, thank you for your response. second: I meant that if xn is a number in the 1st group, and yn is a number in the 2nd group, then yn=f(xn). And I want to find out what is the formula of the function that can (relate) these two groups. Thanks.

Unless you already know what kind of function it should be, there is no definite answer. There is an infinite number of functions that pass through all the data points.

One option would be a degree 7 polynomial, since you have 8  data points. See the attached sample workbook.

As I mentioned, without knowing what kind of function it should be, there is an infinite number of solutions...
