File/Share/Email/Send as Attachment Not Working

My ability to share my Excel document via email as an attachment no longer works. When I try, I receive a Microsoft Excel error notice with a yellow yield sign with an exclamation point stating "General mail failure. Quit Microsoft Excel, restart the mail system, and try again. I do this and nothing changes. Still can't share via email as attachment.

We are having the same issue. Does anyone know how to get the old Share options back?

Hi Genord, try it in an alternative way! You can send Excel documents via email Using Powershell, which is the easiest and most convenient way to send attachments via email. You just use a Send-MailMessage cmdlet in PowerShell and send your Excel documents to others.
