Hi Community,
I believe most of the people using excel must have faced the issue working with big numbers be it UPC, EAN, Ids, or any other big number. Excel will automatically treat any big number with Scientific notations. After a lot of search i could only find work arounds but not a permanent solution. Hope this Feature request actually becomes a part of a future update.
Device and OS platform : PC - Windows 10
Excel product name and version number : Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2305 Build 16.0.16501.20074) 32-bit
Sample File Attached Sample File.xlsx
Feature Requested: Option to disable Scientific Notations across Excel not just a workbook or a column.
I surely believe a lot of excel users are not working with scientific numbers so considering there would be a large audience for this. It could be included in an update in the near future.
