Extra numbers before columns and rows

Can anyone tell me what these extra numbers like heading before my rows and colums are. and how to remove them?

When you Group Rows or columns they allow you to automatically expand or collapse sections by clicking on them

To remove them highlight all the columns and select Ungroup from the right hand side of the Data Ribbon
