Export CSV to Excel

Copper Contributor

Hi Guys 🙂

I'm having a problem exporting .CSV files to Excel...
I used the older Excel, if I'm not mistaken it was the 2016 (or older) version!
To export .CSV to Excel it was very simple, as shown in image 1...
But when updating my office, this process changed and I'm pretty lost =/ Now with PowerQuery it transforms my .CSV directly into a table... and I didn't want that! I would like to leave it in normal text form, just like in the old days....
Would you be able to adjust this process? Has anyone gone through something similar?

Another important fact, this new process always when loading (as shown in the image), returns me a new tab... and I would like it to be saved in the current one, I know that you can do this by selecting the "Load to" option, but it makes the process much more work, besides that I have to change all the parameters as shown in the third image...

Does anyone know how to adjust this?

If you click on Transform, not Load, you may transform your data as desired and load it to the any desired place.

Alternatively you may use old (legacy) wizard if make it available in Options
