Excell Issue

I am trying to put social security numbers in a spread sheet with no dashes and I keep trying to format the cell to general numbers but it keeps adding a decimal hw can I correct this?

Instead of the Numbers format, try using either General or Text.

Try formatting the cell as Special>Social Security Number.

when I select those the populate the number with the decimal and there are no other options for me to choose from

Hmm... this should not be happening. An alternative would be to simply use the Custom format type 0
