Excel Worksheet Tabs

Copper Contributor

Hi. I am wanting to hide the tabs of a workbook and have access to the worksheets via a menu tab and macro driven (I have tabs that are data for other tabs to pull from that I don't want people to have any access to or even view). I can do this by turning off "show tab" within options but a smart person can obvious go and turn this back on. Can I password for example the "File-options" menu so that you cannot turn show tabs back on? ... Any other suggestions ?

You can hide tabs by right-clicking the tab and choosing Hide. You can disable unhide by protecting the workbook (not the worksheet). You can also "very hide" a worksheet from the sheet's properties in the VBA Editor. That way it won't show in the list of hidden worksheets when unhide is selected.
