On of our users has a problem which has been going on for a while now. They copy a filename from a folder that they paste into an empty cell in excel. Excel freezes after that, then if they double click on a cell that contains text and do not do anything else just double click the cell with text, if they then go and click on another cell the text from the cell which they double clicked on shows up in the other cell that they clicked on. This continues, so they click on another cell and the text shows up again and they need to remove the text. The only way to stop this behavior is to close the excel file and open it again.
How can we fix this issue?
We use Microsoft 365 on the Azure platform and Windows server 2016.
