Excel sheet saved in a shared folder- disappearing changes..

At my workplace we have an excel spreadsheet saved in a shared folder. One person has editing privileges, all other users can only view the spreadsheet. Edits will be made, and viewers will be able to see them. But then hours later these edits will have disappeared, and the document reverts back to its previous save. at other times, edits have been saved but don't appear at all for those who can view.

because file base share can not sync immediately。
My suggestion is a web solution which share data on extract records.
