I have created an excel sheet with multiple tabs and shared with other colleagues to use some are with can edit permission and some with view only permission.
I have protected each tab as I don't want everyone to add certain tabs. So when i have been using it for myself to type I needed to pause protection by inputting the password. however the last couple of days something gone wrong and the pause protection is not working anymore. I press it I put the password in but it still won't let me type on 1 certain tab and it still tells me that the sheet is protected. the only way round it, for me to let me type is to go manage protection and switch off the the protect sheet. which is not ideal as it leaves this tab open for editing by all the users that have edit permission.
Please could you advise me how I can solve this problem?
