Hi I am Looking for some help with the correct formula a Excel spread sheet, I am after the following text search and if text matches trasnfer value from Cel# to Cel# If individual cell Text Data from column A matches individual cell text data from column H then value or number shown in the D column on same row as column A text data will be transferred to matching text data cell row In L column.
I cant seem to get the correct formula to make this hapen for me any help would be appreciated .
You could try this, IN column L, all these on the same row. I did it in row 1. =IF(A1=H1,D1,"no match") but if that isn't what you're looking for, then come back with a better description and, if possible, the spreadsheet that you're working with.
