Hi, I am trying to do a project using excel sheet for outcomes of ear surgery. But the data entry seems cumbersome when compared to previous database based on ? Access . Can anyone advice ?
Excel is not a database and indeed, the options to manage data entry are limited compared to e.g. MSAccess. You can control everything using userforms, but that requires (VBA) programming.
Hi Jan thanks. There are specific issues with data protection in medicine . The previous one was administered by a cloud based system and became non viable. The organiser of that retired and decided to stop it. I wish there was a way of an access database template specifically for this Arun
It looks like this isn't a very complicated one to set up. I would strongly suggest to invest a bit of $$ to have someone setup an (Access or other) database to handle this. Perhaps the retired organiser is willing to share things like database structure with the (access or other) database programmer.
