Excel rounding numbers

Copper Contributor

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help,

I can not stop excel rounding up/down numbers, I have formatted cells to 0 decimal polaces, tried the "decrease decimal" on home tab, tried custom and special formats but nothing works.

Anybody have a solution as we use excel for our profit and loss so is important for us,

Thanks in advance,

Darren

Hi @dabhanddaz

It could be due to the width of the column, the number is big to be display in the cell so excel round it.

try to increase the width of the cell.

Oh and maybe helpful, the number is from an excel formula

I am having the same issue.  So far I have learned that it is rounding at digit 16.  There are no formulas or anything.  This is happening when I am using the Desktop version.  When I go online and use microsoft sheets, it does not round to 0.   @dabhanddaz
