Excel Power Pivot and Calendar Table

Hi, I have a problem.

I am trying to create a date table with power pivot. When I click the New -button (my language is finnish) the program seems to be trying to create the table(as seen in the picture) but nothing gets created. The table isn't hiding under other tables or outside the window. Does anyone have a clue what might be causing this?

Hi @tl80472,

 

Power Pivot generates new date table for the range based on earliest and latest dates found in data mode. If you have no dates in your data model (columns shall be in Date format), the New item will be greyed.

 

Perhaps something else, but above is most common reason.

 

At the same time you may find lot of samples how to generate dates table by Power Query.
