At work I have a spreadsheet open all the time to refer to throughout the day but any time I open another Excel file it will bring up my minimised spreadsheet as well as opening the new one. The same thing happens when I close a spreadsheet, it will open up the minimised one. This also happens in Word.
I don't want this to happen, it's never helpful, it's just another thing I have to get off my screen again but if I ignore and just open something else, like Chrome, it it will flash at me in the task bar until I click on it... just for me to immediately click out of it.
Is there a way to turn this off??
