Excel: Not Responding, Lagging, Freezing

I have some rather large excel sheets with 200k+ rows of data, so my computer constantly freezes or excel crashes altogether. 

Does anyone know if this is a RAM issue or can Excel only support so much data?

Since it is not exactly described what kind of Excel version it is, what kind of operating system, storage medium (hard drive, OneDrive, Sharepoint, etc.), I can recommend this link.

Most probably that is used formulas problem. 200K rows is big, but not extremely huge size.
