Excel issues #NAME? error when opening CSV file with formulas

Copper Contributor

Hi,
When opening a CSV file with Excel 365 (version 2004) we receive a name error on the fields using formulas. These formulas are correct and will calculate upon accessing the field and clicking [ENTER].

The CSV file works fine with Excel on mobile, Excel Office 2010 and 2016.
Any help would be appreciated

You can re-save the CSV file as a proper Excel Workbook.

@Abiola1 thanks for your reply. We did what you suggested but without luck. The formulas still won't calculate. However when consulting the formula cell content, we notice that Excel adds an @ before the formula. (I attached a screen shot)

After some research: This is due the fact we are using formulas written in Dutch.
When we rewrite the formulas in English, Excel will calculate the formulas and translate them into ... Dutch ;)
Mystère ...
Is this a Bug or a new feature?
