Excel newbie...


I started a blank work book of my own to help keep track of backorders.


what  I did was start a tab with some formatting and copied it to several other tabs.


now when I am inputting data on 1 tab it is showing up on the other tabs as well.


what did I do wrong?

most likely you have still selected all sheets:


As long as this is the case, all entries will show up in every sheet.


Just right-click on any of the sheets and select "Ungroup Sheets":
