1) I am creating a drop down list that will select an answer from a different tab (lets say these answers are in tab 2 column c)

2)however whatever answer is selected i then need to create a formula allowing to match the answer selected with the column next to it which includes a link ( these links are in tab 2 column f)

If you mean select from C and after that from F you may google for "dependant for-down list", lot of samples. If not, better if you provide small sample file to illustrate the question.
