I need to find out how to fill a column in excel when there is 'mechanical' in one column.. when that is the case I want 530 in the next column.. I've tried the IF function but it doesn't work please advise?!

Can you share a screenshot or sample dataset with no confidential information? This will help evaluate how the formula should be structured.

Hi Paula,

If I understand your query correctly, you plan to add 530 rows to your Data Table.

If so, we can do it with Sequence Function.

=SEQUENCE(530,1,1,1)
