Excel help please!

I don't know if there is a glitch in my software or something new in Office 365 (I've just upgraded) that I have never come across before!

 

I'm creating a fairly long document with 5 columns of text. All of a sudden when I reached row 32 the text I enter is appearing in row 33. It's all fine until I press return and then the text just moves to the line below! If you look at the screen there is nothing in row 32 at all but if I highlight it you can see the text is there in the bar across the screen (under the tool bar). Am I making sense? It's hard to explain but has anyone come across this problem before please?
