Excel graph with time stamp

Copper Contributor

Dear colleagues,

I'm struggling with the graph functions in Excel.

I have a set of data [time, temperature]. My time value starts from 00:28:28 and ends 00:05:00 (so about 37minutes). I have troubles with expressing such set of data as my data turns to 00:00:00 after passing 00:59:59. However, I get a fine graph when I choose the time function h:min:sec. where it misunderstand my data to be 28:28:00 insted of 00:28:28. (Please check attached file)

Any idea of how to express my data to start in 00:00:00 and end in about 37:00:00, given by every five minutes on the x-axis? Any help is really appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Solution

@Hafnia Inserted some helper calculations from F127 downwards. Then, formated the horizontal axis with a label interval of 300 (=5 min of 60 seconds each).

See attached.

Thanks! Really appreciated!
