I have been facing an excel problem with formulas being lost. I am working with an excel file with several tabs which are linked to a summary sheet (in the same file). The excel file pulls data from Bloomberg (API). The data is manually 'pasted value' to avoid it remaining live data from Bloomberg. Once pasted, all formulas in the summary sheet which are linked to the data which is pasted are lost and I get the final output in the cell without the backing formula. I have been using similar excel sheets for years without having this problem so cannot get my mind around what is going on. I have tried creating the sheet again and have still encountered the same issue.
Macros have been disabled, the file is in xlsx and the file is not linked to any other file.
I would appreciate any help!
