Excel Formula

I want a formula that will display a yes or a no if  certain data is present on a separate page

I.e. I want it to see if it can find 42 on sheet 1 in column 1 and then say yes or no

The workbook i am using is below and the page i need the formulas is called checks and balances

That could be like

=IF(COUNTIF('5 Boards'!A:A,$A2),"yes","no")

@dvspnut Please see attached. Changed the sheet "8 Boards" as you didn't have all room numbers in the first column. 

Is this what you had in mind?
