Hi all,
I have an Excel table where
Column 1 = Date Entries
Column 2 = Staff Names
I have been playing with SUMIF, COUNTIFS & SUMPRODUCT formulas and cant work out how to extract the data i need.
I am wanting to be able to populate a count of results for each team member for each month
e.g. below of the table. I want to be able to set up a separate sum table to see how many entries Amanda had for January, February etc
How many entries Jenny had for January February etc
1/1/2023 | Amanda |
1/1/2023 | Jenny |
2/1/2023 | Jenny |
1/2/2023 | Amanda |
2/2/2023 | Bruce |
3/2/2023 | John |
4/2/2023 | Sandra |

@DonnaB351 I would use a pivot table for that .Example attached.
