Excel Formula

Using a Mac Safari 14.1.2 and Excel. Trying to input a formula

=SUM(D5:F5) and enter and all I see is the formula, not the actual sum. WTF

1) Make sure that the cell with the formula is not formatted as Text.

2) Make sure that Show Formulas in the Formula Auditing group of the Formulas tab of the ribbon is not highlighted.
