Excel formula

Hello,

I am trying to populate under a column whether if the person did their work on time "Y", didn't do it "N" or they turned it in late "L". The column I am trying for "y", "n" or "L" to populate and reference from contains a time frame such as 11:59:45 AM, I have seen it done on dates not sure if it's possible with a time value? I tried IF, AND, TIME VALUE formulas but no luck. The question I have is how can I populate "Y", "N" or "L" under a column that is referencing the time frames column, I am using vlookup to reference unique emails since , the work is considered late if it passes 12:00:00 PM.

@cgabriel0 Perhaps the attached example points you into the right direction. I've used the IFS function. If it is not supported by your Excel version, the alternative is to use a nested IF function, which is also provided in the example.

What you are trying is not clear & loud please share some sample data with us for better understanding to fix it.
