Hi, I need to add department ID numbers only to a separate work sheet tab using the department name as the criteria. I added the department list and department ID information on a separate tab. What is the best formula to use?

You can try XLOOKUP function - Microsoft Support or VLOOKUP function - Microsoft Support or Look up values with VLOOKUP, INDEX, or MATCH - Microsoft Support.
