Excel for Mac on iPad Pro

I would like to format cells in currency, with negative amounts shown in red.

Don't have an iPad Pro but in case it's  the same on an Excel for iPhone. Try this:

Select the cell(s) you want to  format;

Select the three dots at the bottom right;

Scroll and select "Number Format"

Select "Number" and press the "(i)" next to it;

There you can select your number style.
