Excel footers

I use Office 365 and OneDrive on Win 10 PC.  I'm reasonably competent.  However, when I insert the file path in Excel, I get the Onedrive "version" (eg https://d.docs.live.net/759......).  What I want is the local version (eg C:\Users\Barrie\OneDrive\Documents\Tydd St Giles....)

How can I force the local style only to appear?

I would try saving the document directly to your drive, closing it, and reopening it directly from your drive. You may have to "save as" and rename it in order to get it to only save on your drive.
No guarantees, but it sounds like the problem is the file being saved to the web.  I hope this helps.
