Excel File Corruption

Copper Contributor

Hi All,

I have an issue where a user is having to repair a corrupt file every day and save as a new file.

There doesn't appear to be any formulas in the workbook and it is being saved as an xlsx workbook.

The file is a shared document and all users are on O365 Enterprise. I have the log file which i've pasted below but it's not of much use as doesn't specify much detail.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="true"?>

-<recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main">

<logFileName>error127080_01.xml</logFileName>

<summary>Errors were detected in file 'X:\filename.xlsx'</summary>

-<removedRecords>

<removedRecord>Removed Records: Named range from /xl/workbook.xml part (Workbook)</removedRecord>

</removedRecords>

</recoveryLog>

Any pointers as to what may be causing this? Issue has been ongoing for a couple of weeks now.

Please share the screenshot of error.

@Robin Shanab Managed to resolve after creating a new Excel file and copying all data to the new Excel file.
