Excel date format

Hi,

I live in the UK. I followed the instructions in help to change the date from US to UK format.  It says in help that when you click on the date you want it will show in the sample box.  It does not and I am unable to change the date format.  Am I missing something or is this a question to be put to the Office 365 team?

Without seeing your data, the guess is the cell is being treated as text and date formatting won't change anything.

hello, once you successfully changed your date format to UK- dd/mm/yyyy in your Regional Settings, everything goes fine...
