When I type a date in Excel (e.g., 5/31), the desktop version knows that I mean 5/31/20. However, the SharePoint version thinks I mean 5/1/31. Does anyone know how to change the SharePoint version so that it behaves like the desktop version?

Check regional settings for Sharepoint site and/or Onedrive and make them the same as for the desktop.

@Sergei Baklan Thank you so much! I knew it had something to do with non-US settings, but I had no idea how to change it. It works perfectly now!
