Excel custom list - not showing up when emailing the file

Hi,

Facing a problem on an excel dashboard, the slicer (using the custom list) will not show the data in the sequence added in the custom list when emailing the file to other colleagues. File and tabs are password protected.

Any suggestions?

Hi @fmatta 

a custom list which is defined in the Excel options is available only on the computer where it has been defined. It is not included in the workbook. Therefore your colleagues do not have the custom list and the slicer gets always sorted alphabetically.

This sort order is the only thing that you can define in the slicer options (sort ascending or descending) that will go with the worbook.
