I work mostly with xlsm Excel files (i.e. ones that include VBA macros) and I rarely have more than 2 or 3 workbooks open at one time. Lately, I am often confronted with an Excel message “Out of memory” when Saving or Closing even quite small files I.e. less than a 1Mb. Although some of these workbooks may contain say 25 public variables, I always reset these to “ ” or to zero via: BeforeSave, BeforePrint and BeforeClose etc., but it still happens (BUT, not every time, and even 4 weeks with MS Support cannot see any trend as to why!). Can anyone help with what triggers this Microsoft Message?
