Excel, Copying rows with dates.

When I copy a row to the row below, I would like to use the COPY then PASTE commands.  When I do that the dates do not increment.  The only way to make the dates increment is to mark the row and then drag it, using my touchpad, to the row below.  I would prefer not to use my touchpad. Is there a way to Ctrl-C then Ctrl-V and get the dates to increment? Thanks.

@arniehalp I dare to say that you can't. But, for example, if your first date is in A1 you could put a formula in A2 that calculates the next date like this:

 

=A1+1

 

 If you then copy row 2 and paste it in row 3, the date will increment.
