How do i change the dates in the calendar for each month?

@JulieClark13 What "Calendar by Month"? Are you using a template? Would be helpful if you could show which one.

the month has a drop down but it doesn't change the dates

Create a calendar by using a template

Many calendar templates are available for use in Excel. A template provides a basic calendar layout that you can easily adapt for your needs.
