Excel AutoSum

Copper Contributor

I have a spreadsheet with a column thats 1-2700 rows, I know how to AutoSum the column, and the total is at the bottom, but is there a way to reverse that and have it AutoSum in a blank row at the top of the column rather than bottom?? TIA

No, you'll have to create the formula yourself. For example:

In the empty cell at the top, press Alt+=

This creates a formula =SUM(), with the insertion point between the parentheses.

Press the Down arrow key to select the cell below.

Then hold down Shift and press End Down.

Press Tab or Enter to confirm.
