Hi there
for the last few months excel ( paste function ) is extremely slow.
The spreadsheet I am using is not massive around 6000 rows and a few pivot tables linked to a couple of worksheets.
When I try to add an entire row or column is takes a few minutes to do so, the little cycle goes round and round like its going to freeze .. it is so much time consuming task... that should take sec not minutes..
I am using Excel 365 subscription version 16.44
How can I fix it? Please help!!!! Any suggestions would be much appreciated it
Thank you

@iainandkamila What kind of Mac are you on? What OS? Does the sheet have many conditional formats, (V)LOOKUP functions and/or functions with INDIRECT or OFFSET?

@Riny_van_Eekelen thank you for your reply is Mac BIG SUR vesion 11.1 there is only one conditional formating ( one column) no vlookup functions. there are 10 worksheets ( but only 1 has approx 6000 lines another 2000 lines and 3 worksheets are pivot table ( data source that 2 worksheets)
Is there anything I can do to speed up the process ?

@iainandkamila Difficult to diagnose. Sorry. Running quite big files on a not very powerful MB Air (Big Sur, and Excel v. 16.46 beta). Am not experiencing the problems you describe.
