Excel used to highlight all cells referenced in a formula by putting a colored box around each section when in the cell or formula bar with a formula. It is no longer doing that. I can find no toggle for this functionality in the ribbon or Options. Anybody have an idea?

@MelissaGriggs Click inside the formula bar to show cells/ranges referred to in a formula.
Not working. No clue what's happened.

@MelissaGriggs So you don't see something like this (see picture) when you select a cell with a formula and click inside the formula bar. Strange!

Nope. Gone. Don't know how to insert a screen grab in here, but nothing. I've been using Excel since it was Lotus! No clue what happened. I've recently been taking Power Query and Power BI classes.

@MelissaGriggs Try clicking on the cell with the formula and hitting F2.
