Excel 2016 on Windows vs Excel 2019 on MacBook: shortcuts

Copper Contributor

How do I get Excel 2019 running on MacBook Pro to give similar shortcuts as Excel 2016 running on Windows? For example, when exploring data, 2016 Excel gives me access to shortcuts such as 'formatting, charts, totals, tables and sparklines', when clicking at the bottom right corner of highlighted data.

@Oscar_Mokotedi That particular functionality, and many other features simply do not exist in Excel for Mac. If you want to have full Windows like capabilities with Excel on your Mac, set-up a virtual Windows machine on it and install Excel on that one. Am working on an older MBP myself and have done that using Parallels. Works great, though pushing the processors to their limits and it drains the battery quickly. So, keep your power cord at hand.

@Riny_van_EekelenThanks very much for your response.
