Excel 2013 to 2016 --> #value in cells that invoques other files

Copper Contributor

Good morning

I have on a Server an Excel file (created with Excel 2013) which invoques values from other Excel files. Without oppening all the Excel files, using Excel 2013, I am able to see all the data that Comes from them.

With Excel 2016, #value is written on all the values coming from the other files.

Is there a way to prevent this ? Some parameters to change maybe ?

I thank you in advance for your help and wish you a nice day :)

Hello @Eugy94,

There are a number of reasons that a formula might return #VALUE!

Perhaps you could share your formula to help us find the root of the error?

Hello and thank you for your reply.

My Excel document is linked to multiple other documents. Data from these documents are called in my document.

For instance, in one cell:

=SOMME.SI.ENS(Documentonserver.xlsx]Matrix'!$A:$A;[Documentonserver.xlsx]Matrix'!$B:$B;Q3;'[Documentonserver.xlsx]Matrix'!$C:$C;$B$7)

Excel 2016: #Value
