I have an excel workbook with pivot tables. The source data worksheet I made a mistake with and formatted to table without identifying area. I just spent 6 hours ridding columns but can't get the rows deleted. (1M+) can you advise?

Without the Excel file, it is difficult to assess whether and what kind of error there may be.
Just into the blue, I would recommend...
Select the first row from the top you want to delete by clicking on the number of the row.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Down Arrow ...this will select all rows down.
Then right click and select "Delete Cells" all selected rows will be deleted.
Hope I could help you with that.
