Entries of long numbers

Hi,

I am entering long numbers in an Excel sheet but it keeps changing me the last number.  For example:

I enter 1040173012001159 and Excel changes to 1040173012001150.

I checked the cell format and it is as number.

Could you please give me an advise to solve this problema?

Excel keeps only first 15 digits of the long number and zeroes the rest. To keep all digits it shall be text, not number.

This number is beyond Excel's allocated memory for digits in a single cell (fifteen) and hence cannot be stored in a single Excel cell.
