Enter Website Address into Excel Spreadsheet

Copper Contributor

I have a spreadsheet with usernames and passwords for websites I frequent often. I want to add a column to this spreadsheet and copy website addresses (URLs) into a new column. I have tried using the hyperlink function, but I keep getting this error message: Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you. For more info, please contact your help desk.

This is my personal computer. I do have admin rights to make any kind of changes I want. Chrome is up to date and running Version 97.0.4692.99 (Official Build) (64-bit). I am using a Chrome browser, but I also have access to Microsoft Edge. I am running Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, Version 15.0.5415.1001, Product ID 00197-19025-15254-AA427

Can someone please tell what I need to do to add this functionality to my spreadsheet. Thank you very much.

Maybe this approach/link will help you further in your plans.

Create an external reference (link) to a cell range in another workbook

Hope I was able to help you with this Link.
