Dynamic drop down lists

Copper Contributor

Good afternoon,

Can someone help me to get a functional drop down list with 3 values?

Row D got 4 options (see Wlstatus below)

Row E got multiple options depending on the value insert in row D (see options below Classificatie)

Row F also must have multiple options depending on the value insert in row E (see options in chart below: Streeftijd)

I've attached a sample file I created some time ago to demonstrate how what you're asking can be accomplished. It does require the most recent Dynamic Array functions, which require the most recent versions of Excel.

See the attached version. I used Data Validation with an OFFSET formula for the classification, and a VLOOKUP formula for the waiting time.

Wauw thanks, exactly what i meant!

Maybe this is to much for Excel, but is it also possible to Link Streeftijd to Uit.O.datum (uiterste opname datum). That when you fill in Streeftijd, Uit.O.datum automatically fills in the date of 4 weeks ahead.

Take the above row on the table as example. Depending on the choices made in the precious rows, you get a time of 4 weeks, Ing.d.status fills in the date of today (because we are changing it today) and uit.O.datum automatically fills in 10-03-2021 (4week ahead).

StreeftijdIng.d. StatusUit.O.datum

6 maanden10-02-202124-02-2021
12 maanden10-02-202110-03-2021

See the attached version. I added a column to the table on the Formules sheet.

For simplicity, I used 6 months = 182 days and 12 months = 365 days.
