Drop-down for whole column in perpetuity

Hello! I've built a spreadsheet in Teams for a group of people to perform data entry at the same time. I have several columns that are drop-downs using data validation.

I would like it to be so they cannot delete the data validation, but still select options within the drop-down without having to unlock it. Also it would be great if no matter how many rows they add, those columns always have the drop-down. Are these things possible?

So long as you designate the range of data as an Excel Table, those characteristics will carry down, I believe. That's been my experience, at any rate. Works for both formulas and data validation.
