I am using Excel for Mac version 16.16.14 (190909) dated 2016 and 2018.

Letters are doubled in Excel cells when I accentuate; like eé or aà.

I do NOT get this in Word or any other app.

I have to go back and clean up the typing every time I use Excel with accentuation.

Thanks for your help.
