I've been using Excel for 30 years. I always have my Advance Options, Editing Options, After pressing enter, move selection checked and direction 'down' selected. Today, when I hit enter after making no change, it automatically moves down, BUT if I make a change in the cell, clicking enter keeps the same cell selected. I have quadruple checked and toggled the check box on and off to no avail. Did something change in latest update on the behavior of the enter key? It is really hard for this old dog to learn new tricks.
Update: Sorry. I restarted my computer and the behavior went back to normal. Whew, thought I was going to go crazy.
